APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION

• Candidates seeking admission to LL.B. degree course should apply in the Application form and coding sheet prescribed for LL.B. degree course only.


• Applications should not be interchanged among the candidates or categories. Application forms meant for SC/ST candidates must be used by those candidates. If other category candidates use those applications, their application will be rejected.


• Filled-in Application for admission along with Coding Sheet and all necessary enclosures should be sent in the prescribed envelope (s) to the Convenor, Centralised Admission Committee, Pondicherry Engineering College Campus, Puducherry - 605 014, so as to reach on or before 23rd June 2008, 5.00 p.m.


• The last date for the receipt of admission applications at CENTAC office is 23.06.2008.


• In case of delay in the declaration of the qualifying examinations results i.e after 23rd June 2008, by any HSC Board, the candidates from that Board should not wait for the result, but submit the admission applications at CENTAC office on or before last date.


• CENTAC will not be responsible for postal or any other delay.


• Applications received after the due date and time will be summarily rejected and no further correspondence in this regard will be entertained


• The certificates of Nationality, caste and residence need to be obtained from the respective competent authorities in the prescribed formats provided in bulletin or by the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management. Candidates claiming admission under special regional allocation should obtain the necessary certificates in the format prescribed in Annexure.


• No original certificates should be enclosed and sent along with the filled-in application form. Only attested copies of the certificate need to be enclosed with the application form. At the time of the counselling all the original certificates need to be produced for verification.
  
  
• Applications which are incomplete, defective will summarily be rejected and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.


• Candidates are advised to carefully go through the Specific instructions / Guidelines to fill the Application Form and Guidelines to fill up the Coding Sheet given in the Information bulletin, before filling the Application Form and Coding Sheet for admission. Candidates are also advised to carefully go through the Check List in the Application Form for admission and ensure that all copies of required documents have been enclosed and then mailed to the Convenor, CENTAC.
